All Transactions Must Be Legally Authorized

Restricted firearms cannot simply be handed over because an owner and business have reached an agreement.

Any acquisition or transfer must comply with the Firearms Act, applicable regulations, RCMP Canadian Firearms Program requirements, and Chief Firearms Officer requirements.

Where regulatory approval or authorization is required, the firearm remains with its lawful owner until the applicable requirements for transferring possession have been satisfied.
