Welcome to our Firearms Safety Training Program. Please review the following details carefully before registering.
🔐 Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC)
Prerequisites: None
Minimum Duration: 8 hours (plus testing and breaks)
Focus: Safe handling, loading, unloading, transportation, display, and storage of non-restricted firearms (rifles and shotguns)
Format: Lecture + Hands-on instruction
Required for individuals wishing to possess or purchase firearms for any legal purpose in Canada.
🔐 Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC)
Prerequisites: Must have successfully completed and passed the CFSC
Minimum Duration:
4 hours (if taken within 30 days of CFSC)
6 hours (if taken more than 30 days after CFSC)
Focus: Safe handling, loading, unloading, transportation, display, and storage of restricted firearms (handguns)
Format: Lecture + Hands-on instruction
Required for individuals wishing to possess or purchase restricted firearms.
Age Requirement: You must be 18 or older to take the CRFSC test (minors may attend for educational purposes only)
🧾 Identification Requirements
Bring valid photo ID for all courses and tests. Acceptable forms include:
Government-issued ID (e.g. Military, Ministry, PR Card)
Passport (from any country)
Driver’s License
Mennonite community students: A bishop's letter may be accepted (must be attached to CAFC 332 form)
⚠️ Important: Individuals under Firearms Prohibition by court order are not eligible to attend.
📚 Student Manual
Not included in the course fee
Available for purchase at the FSESO website
Free digital download: Government of Canada website
📱 Classroom Etiquette
Cell phones: Allowed for emergencies only—must be on silent or vibrate
Food & Drinks: Bring your own snacks, lunch, and beverages. Short breaks; local options available
Supplies: Bring pen and paper for note-taking
Conduct: Disruptive or abusive behavior, or being under the influence, will result in removal with no refund
⏰ Late Arrival Policy
Arrive at least 15 minutes early for registration
Classes begin promptly at 8:00 AM
Late arrivals will not be admitted, and deposits/fees will be forfeited
Late on either day = required to rebook and repay
❌ Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
All deposits/course fees are non-refundable
If you miss your session, you must rebook and repay
Rescheduling Terms:
Free reschedule if made ≥14 days before class
$100 administrative fee if requested <14 days before class
Valid reasons (e.g., illness, bereavement) may be considered with proof
Limit: One reschedule per booking, must occur within 60 days of the initial booking
No refunds on rescheduled dates
Repeated cancellations may be restricted
👥 Student Behavior
Any form of harassment, cheating, or disruptive conduct results in removal from the course
Remaining course fee will be forfeited
Affected students must rebook and repay for a future session
Any video recording, voice recording, any form of digital recording, photography of the course or test is strictly prohibited and will results in removal from the course
🚨 Course Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel any session
If this occurs, you will receive a 100% refund (within 14 days)
We are not responsible for related expenses (e.g. travel, accommodations)
💰 Course Fees
Fees subject to change without notice (per FSESO policy)
Fee differences must be paid before course attendance
Previously paid fees are non-refundable
