Please note, our fees do not include applicable Federal and Provincial Taxes.

The CFSC and the CRFSC courses and examination are required for those individuals who wish to apply for a Possession and Acquisition License ( PAL ).

Canadian Firearm Safety Course (CFSC) - $210*

Cost includes both Classroom Instruction and Test

Topics covered in the CFSC include:
• The evolution of firearms, major parts, types and actions
• Basic firearms safety practices
• Ammunition
• Operating firearm actions
• Safe handling and carry procedures
• Firing techniques and procedures
• Care of non-restricted firearms
• Responsibilities of the firearms owner/user
• Safe storage, display, transportation and handling of non-restricted firearms.

Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) - $210*

Pre-requisite: Must have successfully completed and passed the Canadian Firearms Safety Course

Cost includes both Classroom Instruction & Test

• Basic firearms safety practices
• Ammunition
• Operating firearm actions
• Firing techniques and procedures
• Care of non-restricted firearms
• Responsibilities of the firearms owner/user

Back to Back - Combined Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) and Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) - $380*

Cost includes both Classroom Instruction and Test for both CFSC and CRFSC. Student must pass CFSC to attend the CRFSC)

Re-Test - $60*

CFSC / CRFSC each re-test (after having failed the initial test. Only one re-test is allowed as per FSESO policy)
